Our story
About the Center
A self-supporting community center in unincorporated Pierce County — built on grants, donations, fundraising, and the memberships of the people we serve.
The Mid-County Community Center is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. We have been providing support and services to seniors in Pierce County for over 30 years.
We offer a safe, supportive, comfortable environment in which older adults can participate in activities, programs, and services that correspond to their experiences and interests. We endeavor to strengthen their mental and physical well-being, promote lifelong learning, sustain their independence, and provide social interaction and friendships.
We also act as a source of referrals to other agencies with the same goals. Our great location in unincorporated Pierce County means we are truly a self-supporting community center — able to provide these services through grants, donations, fundraising events, and memberships to our center.
Thank you for your interest in MCCC. We hope to see you soon!
